Goodidea Privacy Policy

Information we collect and why

When you submit a business enquiry, Goodidea processes the name, company, contact information and business need you provide to respond and arrange a discussion.

Business notifications also include the source page. The API temporarily uses the request network address to limit excessive submissions. Server operational logs support troubleshooting.

Processors and storage

The website API on Tencent Cloud in mainland China processes business enquiries and sends a notification to Goodidea's designated Feishu group. Tencent Cloud provides infrastructure and storage; Feishu provides internal collaboration and notifications. They process data under Goodidea's instructions.

Enquiry records

The current website API does not maintain a separate database of enquiry text. Enquiries are received and handled in a designated Feishu group. Goodidea administrators manage retention and deletion there; the website API does not periodically delete group records. You may request access, correction or deletion using the contact below.

Website analytics

When enabled, a separate self-hosted Umami service on Tencent Cloud records page paths, referring websites, campaign labels, coarse device and location information, and content or business-contact interactions. Location is inferred from the network address; we do not request precise device location. Form text, names, phone numbers and email addresses are not sent to analytics. We do not enable session recordings, heatmaps or cross-site identity tracking.

Analytics uses no tracking cookies and does not store raw IP addresses. Anonymous visits are behavioural indicators, not verified customer identities. We respect Do Not Track. You can disable analytics in this browser; the preference is saved locally and does not affect website use.

The initial growth review runs for eight weeks, after which retention needs will be reviewed. Reports are restricted to authorised website administrators.

Your choices

You may request access, correction or deletion, or withdraw consent, by emailing privacy@goodideamedia.com. We will verify the request before acting on it.

Security and changes

Goodidea uses access controls, encryption in transit, separated permissions, log redaction and backups. This site is intended for business contacts and job applicants, not children. Material policy changes will carry a new version and publication date; forms will ask for fresh consent where required.
